Cheryl Ann Reeves

Cheryl Ann Reeves, 77, of Gaston, passed away on Saturday evening, April 7, 2024, at her sister’s home in Englewood, Ohio.

Cheryl was born on December 7, 1946, in Muncie to the late Marion Robert and Vera Eleanor Reeves. After graduating from Gaston High School in 1964, she attended Business College in Indianapolis. Cheryl worked in the payroll department at N.G. Gilbert Corporation for many years before her retirement at which time she became caregiver for her father who had Parkinson’s disease. She was a kind and generous soul that everyone called a “real sweetheart”. Cheryl was an avid IU basketball fan and held season tickets for 30 years. She was also a big Eagles and classic county music fan and has attended many concerts.

Cheryl is survived by her sister, Marilyn Kay Francisco (husband David) and several cousins who have been a great support during her illness. She was especially devoted to her pets, Misti and Kiddo.

Cheryl’s family would like to thank Capital Health Hospice for their care and compassion in the final weeks of Cheryl’s life.

A funeral service to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St. in Gaston. Pastor Mike Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel.
