Heidi Ann Britton

Heidi Ann Britton, 27, of Yorktown, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Randolph County, Indiana from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Heidi was born November 1, 1989 in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Yorktown High School in 2008. She was currently attending Ivy Tech Community College. She was working towards her degree in nursing. She had previously worked at Little Bloomers Day Care in Yorktown. Heidi enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Heidi is survived by her mother, Ruth Britton (fiancé Mark High) of Yorktown; her father, Roger Britton (wife Lori) of Yorktown; two sisters, Holly Britton (fiancé Matt Urlage) of Mooreland and Michaela Hiatt of Muncie; grandparents, Jerry and Sharon Puckett of Yorktown and Ed and Norma McKibben of Yorktown; three nieces, Lexi Berman, Marleigh West, and Gracie Urlage; a nephew, Liam West; a special friend, Jake Bryan; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heidi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roger and Doris Britton; and an uncle, Raymond Puckett.

A funeral service to celebrate Heidi’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown, Indiana. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
