Alex Cullum

Alex Cullum, 19, of Muncie passed away June 11, 2017 unexpectedly in an accident.

Alex was born January 23, 1998 in Muncie to Ed and Amy Cullum. He graduated from Wes-Del high school in 2016 and was currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College. He had also worked for Arby’s, JC Penney, and worked in maintenance at Wes-Del High School. He enjoyed football, weight lifting, running, and hanging out with his many friends. He was a member of Bethel Church.

Alex was survived by his parents, Ed and Amy Cullum; his older brother, Andy Cullum;maternal grandparents, Bunny and Joe Harrick; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald E. Anderson; paternal grandparents, James and Pansy Richhart Cullum; paternal great-grandparents, James and Roxie Cullum; and paternal uncle, Ralph C. Cullum.

A funeral service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 6401 W. River Rd. Muncie, IN 47304. Pastor Ken Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery in Muncie.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church and one hour prior to the service at Grace Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to The Alex Cullum Memorial Scholarship Fund and may be made payable to Wes-Del Community Schools in care of Debbie Baldwin at 10000 N. County Road 600 W. Gaston, IN 47342.
