Beulah Faye (Ice) Casper

Beulah Faye Casper, 93, of Gaston, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Swayzee, Indiana.

Beulah was born January 10, 1922 in Delaware County, Indiana, the youngest daughter of 12 children born to the late Thomas and Druzzilla Barrett Ice.

Beulah graduated from Fairmount High School in 1941. She married Paul E. Casper and lived in the Gaston area their entire life. They were married 49 years before his death on August 7, 1991.

Beulah was a member of the Prairie Grove Church and the Farmers Union.

Beulah is survived by two daughters, Judy McIntire of Upland and Dianna King (husband Harold) of Swayzee; a brother George Ice (wife Olza) of Anderson; two grandsons, Dave King (wife Heidi) of Glen Ellyn, IL and Dr. Brad King (fiancé Amy Richwine) of Gaston; two great-grandsons, Trevor and Justin King of Glen Ellyn, IL.

Beulah was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James McIntire; and several brothers and sisters.

A funeral service to celebrate Beulah’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015, at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St., Gaston, IN. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery North of Muncie.

Friend and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Friday at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Prairie Grove Church of Gaston.

Beulah’s family would like to thank Dr. Rousseau and staff, the University Nursing Center, and her friend, Pam Williams for the compassionate care of Beulah.
