Bobbie Ruth (Crum) Warrell

Bobbie Ruth Warrell, 86, of Muncie, passed away on Thursday evening, May 12, 2022, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Bobbie was born on October 19, 1935, in Finley, Tennessee, to the late C.L. and Mildred Crum. Bobbie spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle. Bobbie will be remembered for her wit and great sense of humor. She most cherished her time spent with her family.

Bobbie is survived by two sons, Greg Warrell and Jeff Warrell (wife Heather); six grandchildren, Christie Warrell (Andy Foster), Mandy Denney, Ross Warrell (wife Shannon), Amber Young (husband Corry), Hannah Warrell, and Joshua Warrell; nine great-grandchildren, Joseph and Easton Foster, Jacob, Kaleigh, and Nathan Denney, and Nathan, Gavin, and Peyton Warrell, and Elliana Young; a great-great-granddaughter, Emersyn Wells; a brother, Donnie Crum; sister, Jeannie Crum; and several nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Darwin Warrell Sr.; son, Darwin “Buddy” Warrell Jr.; brother, David Crum; and sister, Dorothy “Pete” Swearingen.

A funeral service to celebrate Bobbie’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Pentecostal Tabernacle, 1205 W. Memorial Dr. in Muncie. Bobbie’s son, Pastor Jeff Warrell, will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the church.
