Christopher P. Whitesell

Christopher P. Whitesell, 35, of Daleville, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, from a sudden illness while at work.

Chris was born on September 17, 1985, in Muncie, to Richard and Jeanette (Johnson) Whitesell. Chris worked in construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family, horses, and playing video games.

Chris is survived by three sons, Jayden, Bryan, and Brance; his mother, Jeanette; a brother, John Whitesell (Paige); two sisters, Tammy Sanders (Jeff) and Tracy Mayer (Mark); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Richard; grandfather, Clifton Johnson; and two grandmothers, Joan Study and Moscelyn Whitesell.

A funeral service to celebrate Chris’ life will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, August 13, 2021, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Friday, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in care of Gant Funeral Homes to aid in funeral expenses.
