Curtis Russell Beaty

Curtis Russell Beaty, 65, of Muncie, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Curtis was born on September 30, 1958, in Muncie to the late Curtis Robert and Doris Beaty. He attended Southside High School. Curtis retired from the United States Army and was a truck driver for Convenience Store Distributing. He enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Curtis is survived by five children, Heather Aragon, Holly Brushwood, Bryan Beaty, Brendan Beaty, and Savannah Beaty; eight grandchildren, Aaliyah, Sharaia, Madison, Raymond, Marcelles, Sarina, Cecilray, and Dallas; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Gracelyn, and Kaydence.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service to celebrate Curtis’ life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Michael Sherman will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Mt. Pleasant, Indiana.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
