Dallas Mark Ellis

Dallas Mark Ellis, 82, of Yorktown, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an automobile accident.

Dallas was born on June 9, 1942, in Yorktown to the late Vaughn and Lillian Ellis. He was a 1960 graduate of Yorktown High School. Dallas served his country in the United States Air Force from 1960 to1966. He worked at the Marsh Warehouse in Yorktown for many years. Dallas enjoyed woodworking, bowling, and traveling.

Dallas is survived by three children, Robert Ellis (wife Jamie), Kimberly Gingerich, and David Ellis (wife Tonya): two stepchildren, Laura Graf and A.J. Graf; 13 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

Dallas was preceded by his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Ellis.

A memorial service to celebrate Dallas’ life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 2, 2025, at Muncie First Brethren Church, 101 S. Morrison Rd., Muncie, IN. Pastor Jim Garrett will officiate.
