David A. Peden

David A. Peden, 70, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home in Muncie, Indiana following a short illness.

David was born March 16, 1945 in Muncie to the late Ross and Dorothy (Oliver) Peden. David retired in 2008 after 35 years of working as an electrician for Borg Warner. He was a member of the U.A.W. and was a ham radio operator.

David is survived by a special friend, Elsie Cox of Muncie; three children, Joey Peden (wife Ginny) of Muncie, Allen Peden of Lafayette, and Teresa Shockley (husband Chris) of Delphi; three siblings, Tom Peden (wife Judy) of Albany, Judy Peden of Muncie, and Shirley Peden of Muncie; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Gant Funeral Home, 2215 S. Broadway St., Yorktown, Indiana. Pastor Linda McBride will officiate.  

Memorial contributions may be given to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice Program at 2401 University Ave, Muncie, IN 47303.
