Dora E (Mohler) Campbell

  Dora E. (Mohler) Campbell, 78, of Yorktown passed away at her home, April 4th, 2016 surrounded by her children.

   Dora was born in Yorktown, October 9th, 1937 to her parents; Charles and Nellie (Writtenhouse) Mohler. She attended schools at Yorktown, enjoyed working puzzles, working in yard and fishing. She babbysitted many children and worked the majority of her life at the local Yorktown restaurant, under the management of Moon'S, Dawson's and Maxwell's.  She was a member of the Victory Temple Church in Muncie.

   She is survived by two dughters, Pam Chasteen, husband - Bob, and Karen Wilson. Two sons, Jack Gardner, wife- Robin and Fred Gardner, wife - Linda.  Three brothers; Harlan Mohler, wife - Carolyn, Jim Mohler, Rick Mohler, wife-Mary Ann. Sisters; Winola Goad, Wilma Cope, husband-Mike and Vicki Findley, husband Ray. Eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    Dora was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. Gardner of 22 years and her second husband of 25 years, Delmar F. Campbell in 2005, her parents. One grandson, Bobby, five brothers,  George Gene Mohler, Charles Mohler, Bill Mohler, Vollie Mohler and Hilbert Mohler.

      Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Gant Funeral Home, Yorktown chapel with Pastor R. L. Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory cemetery, north of Muncie.

       Friends may call Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday.
