Edythe (Gulick) Gray

Edythe Gray, 83, of Gaston, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie, IN.

Edythe was born August 20, 1932 in Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin to the late Clarence and Josie (Larsen) Gulick. Edythe worked in the Cafeteria at Wes-Del High School for 29 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Gaston Baptist Church and the Matthews Chapter of the Eastern Star. Edythe was a loving and loved woman. She enjoyed reading, flowers, gardening, and canning.

Edythe is survived by two children, Linda Gray of Muncie, and Don Gray (wife Tammy) of Fishers; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Bonnie, Norette, and Jim, that the family would like to thank for their love and support.

Edythe is preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Paul Gray in 2001; a sister, Ruth Fralick; and infant brother, Charles Gulick.

A funeral service to celebrate Edythe’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm Street, Gaston, IN. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel.
