Gregory Kent Cleaver

Gregory Kent Cleaver, 55, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Yorktown, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 unexpectedly due to a variety of health issues.

Greg was born May 25, 1960 in Anderson, Indiana to Leon and Barbara Cleaver. He attended Yorktown High School and ITT Technical Institute. He was a United States Marine Veteran and was a self employed computer technician. He enjoyed working on computers. He loved his family and animals, especially his dog Charlie Boy. He was a Star Wars and Star Trek fan. He was a generous and compassionate man who loved to tell stories.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Debbie (Myer) Cleaver; two children, Jacob Cleaver, and Jessica Cleaver; two step-children, Kenny and Chelsie; his parents, Leon and Barbara Cleaver; a sister, Lana Smith; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Cleaver; and a step-son, Jason.

A memorial service to celebrate Greg’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Compass Church, Yorktown Campus, 8116 W. Jackson St. Muncie, IN 47304.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember prior to service from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Compass Church, Yorktown Campus.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Fund) 1209 W. Riggin Rd. Muncie, IN 47303.
