Gregory P. Dalton, 64, of Parker City, passed away on Friday morning, January 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Greg was born on December 14, 1956 in Muncie to the late Daniel and Polly (Vance) Dalton. He was a 1975 graduate of Muncie Central High School. Greg worked as a truck driver for Best Way Disposal for the last 9 years. He had also worked for Container Corp. and car and furniture sales. Greg attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating, camping, and catching rays at the Prairie Creek Reservoir. Greg’s greatest love was his family and the times spent with them.
Greg is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Connie Dalton; three children, Brian Dalton (wife Sara), Mathew Dalton (wife Kari), and Jennifer Huddleston (husband Justin); five grandchildren, Jovie Huddleston, Joplin Huddleston, Landon Weller, Silas Dalton, and Doc Michael Dalton due in March; four siblings, Kay Melton, Ron Dalton (wife Carolyn), Tom Dalton, and Larry Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
Greg’s family would like to thank his Best Way work family and his nurses from Heart to Heart Hospice, Loretta and Katie.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at The Meeks Mortuary, 415 E. Washington St., Muncie, IN 47305. Greg will be cremated following services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
