James A. Reno

James A. Reno, 78, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his home in Fowlerton. 

James was born on August 18, 1943, in Gaston to the late Reed Preston and Martha Etta Reno. James retired from the United States Army and worked as a custodian at Wes-Del schools. 

James is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Reno.

A graveside service to celebrate James' life will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 25, 2022, at Thompson Cemetery in Gaston. Pastor Michael Osborne will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard. Burial of James' ashes will follow.
