Jayne Elaine (Wisehart) Baldwin

Jayne Elaine Wisehart-Baldwin, 74, of Gaston, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home in Gaston.

Jayne was born March 7, 1942, in Anderson, IN to the late Frank Wisehart and Mary (Rhodes) Aldridge. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1960. Jayne married Larry Gilbert Baldwin in 1960. She retired from RCA and was also a daycare worker at Kiddy Kingdom Day Care at Muncie First Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the University Christian Church and the Single Seniors Card Club. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. She loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jayne is survived by four children, Lisa Polston (husband Keith) of Gaston, Rick Baldwin (wife Tammy) of Muncie, Steve Baldwin (wife Melissa) of Fishers, and Denny Baldwin (fiancé Jennifer Law) of Alvaton, KY; three sisters, Janet Aldridge (husband John) of Dayton, TN, Ruthanne Voyles of Anderson, and Judy McCquilling (husband Mike) of Russiaville; eight grandchildren, Kristen Baldwin (fiancé David Noland), Melissa Blount, Johnathan Baldwin (wife Sara), Joshua Baldwin, Jordan Baldwin, Jenna Baldwin, Declan Baldwin, and Darby Baldwin; five great-grandchildren, Marissa Blount, Daniel Blount, Macy Blount, Bowen Baldwin, and Beckett Baldwin; daughter-in-law, Alicia Bullock; and several nieces and nephews.

Jayne was preceded in death by her loving husband in 2004, Larry Gilbert Baldwin; and a special niece, Amy Graves.

A funeral service to celebrate Jayne’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 14, 2016 at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St. in Gaston. Pastor Steve Huddleston will officiate. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 13, 2016 and one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel.
