Joshua Edward Ratliff

Joshua Edward Ratliff, 42, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Muncie, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022.

Josh was born on September 20, 1979, in Peru, Indiana. He was a 1997 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. Josh worked as a forklift operator. He enjoyed traveling, pickleball, and swimming.

Josh is survived by his mother, Susan (Disinger) Ward; a daughter, Avery Ratliff; six siblings, Jason Ratliff (wife Nancy), Chynna Ratliff, Chelsea Perkins (husband Brandon), Shelly Haler (husband Tony), Kevin Ward, and Christopher Ward; two special nephews, Peyton and Jason Ratliff; and a special friend, April Hatfield.

A funeral service to celebrate Josh’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Following the service there will be a meal and celebration of Josh’s life at the Marpah Shrine Club, 3617 N. Shrine Dr. in Muncie. Cremation will follow services.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel.
