Judy Frances (Braswell) Carroll

Judy Frances Carroll, 74, of Muncie, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, surrounded by her family at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.

Judy was born on October 12, 1948, in Albany, Kentucky to the late Orvil and Kay Braswell. She was a 1966 graduate of New Castle High School. Judy was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband in many businesses over the years. Her family was so blessed to have her as a wife, mom, and nanna. She was loved by everyone who ever met her. Judy’s biggest love was her family and friends.  

Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Calvin Buddy Carroll; a daughter, Amy Spangler (Jason); three grandchildren, Savannah Goodman (Ezra), Sydney Carrow, and Hayden Carrow; two sisters, Sue Paul (Chris) and Vicki Payne; longtime family friend, Lori Knighton; niece, Christy Tofflemoyer (Matt); and several great nieces and nephews.

Judy’s family held a private graveside service with burial in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
