Kyle Jacob Reese, 34, was in his Muncie home when he entered perfection after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. Kyle was born on August 31st, 1982. He was a 2001 Cowan High School Graduate and a 2014 Indiana Wesleyan Graduate. He was employed at Boyce Systems, Inc. He was also a freelance Web Designer and Chief Operations Officer of FlatRock Technology Group.
Kyle lived a legacy for Christ. He lived by the motto “choose joy” as he realized each day, regardless of what it brought, was a gift. He had a love for others and was gifted at building relationships, making people feel special, and sharing life. He was redeemed through Jesus Christ and sought to live his life, despite his imperfections, serving God and loving others - knowing this was his daily call. He poured himself into his family and his church, Harvest Sharing Life.
Kyle is survived by his wife of three years, Jamie (Grim) Reese and her three children Jessie, Jude, and Jentry Linton, whom he loved as his own. Also surviving are his parents Randal Reese (wife, Jackie), and Christy (Wallace) Rinker (husband, Darrell); three brothers: Lucas Reese (wife Kelly) of Yorktown, Nathan Reese of New Hampshire, and Matt Reese of Muncie. He was dearly loved by his mother and father-in-law Terry and Rea Grim and Jamie’s three brothers and four sisters. He had 16 nieces and nephews and too many friends to count. He was a considered “father” to Janet and Faith in Liberia, Africa.
A funeral service to celebrate Kyle’s life will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Harvest Sharing Life, 1010 E. Centennial Ave in Muncie. Pastor Sam Wrisley will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
