Margaret Ann Ditzenberger, 74, of Muncie, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Bethel Pointe following an extended illness.
Margaret was born on December 26, 1949, in Muncie to the late Curtis Allen and Rosie Ann Bryant. She was a 1968 graduate of Yorktown High School. Margaret worked as a program tester at Ontario Systems in Muncie. She enjoyed creative writing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Angie Hart (husband Mike) and Gina Crider (husband Mike); five grandchildren, Ashley McFarlin (husband Jake), Amanda Zgunda (husband Garrett), Maggie Craven (husband Ethan), Collin Hart, and Emily Thompson; and five great-grandchildren, Tessa and Tristan McFarlin, and Emerson, Carter, and Josephine Zgunda
Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Hughes and Mary Bryant.
A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Burial of Margaret’s ashes will be buried in Hawk Cemetery at a later date.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Gant Funeral Homes -Yorktown Chapel.
