Margery Alice (Lambert) Lebon

Margery Alice (Lambert) Lebon, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at her home in Gaston.

Margery was born on November 6, 1934, in Muncie, IN to the late Oren and Sara (Chalfant) Lambert. She was a 1952 graduate of Gaston High School. Margery retired from RCA in Marion in 1992, after more than 20 years of service. Margery was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Margery dearly enjoyed crocheting Afghans and Christmas stockings. So many were gifted with her artful creations.

Margery is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ramon Lebon; four children, Janet Powers (husband Charlie) of Gaston, Doug Shull of Gaston, Jody Hyde (husband Ray) of Muncie; and Lisa Burns of Gaston; four step-children, Ramona Lebon (husband Jeffrey), Michelle Baty  (husband Michael), Marc Lebon (wife Tina), and Megan Cross (husband Jeffrey); seven grandchildren, Anson Shull (wife Christie), Arrick Garringer (wife Stacy), Audra Koontz (husband Benji), Ryan Powers, Travis Powers, Sara Humphrey (husband Jason), Anna Kelsey (husband Matt), Eddie Burns (wife Maci), and Hunter Coyle; several great-grandchildren; and another great-grandchild coming in January; and several nieces and nephews.

Margery was preceded by a sister, Norma Lee Besser.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St. in Gaston. Larry Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel.
