Mark A. Antrim, 61, of Yorktown, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Friday, November 15, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Mark was born on July 19, 1963, in Muncie to the late Wayne and Carolyn Antrim. He was a 1981 graduate of Yorktown High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. Mark married Kim Ross on April 29, 1997. He had worked for Control Panel Corp, Ken-Bar Tool and Engineering, and was currently employed at High Pro in Anderson. Mark enjoyed camping, tinkering, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kim Antrim; a son, Cody Antrim (wife Miranda); two grandchildren, Caroline and Logan Antrim; a sister, Jana Sidwell (husband Eddie); brother, Bill Worden (wife Stephanie); sister-in-law, Kay Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 22, 2024, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Cremation will follow services.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, and also one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
