Michael William Flora

Michael William Flora, 61, of Gaston, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes at his home in Gaston on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

Michael was born January 30, 1956 in Buffalo, New York to the late Richard J. and Marguerite D. (Coyne) Flora. Michael married Deborah Atkins on June 1, 1992. He worked as a senior maintenance technician for Borg Warner for over 17 years.  

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Deborah Flora; two daughters, Christina Roskwitalski (husband Paul) of Angola, NY and Athena Jackson (husband Roger) of Gaston; a brother, Richard Flora (wife Jan) of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Pat Kiebzak of Morristown, NJ and Marguerite Smith (husband Bill) of New Braunfels, TX; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Michael was preceded in death by a son, Richard Flora; and a nephew, Donald Kiebzak.

Michael’s family will hold a private funeral service in his honor.
