Pamela S. Garrett

Pamela S. Garrett, 62, of Farmland, Indiana, passed away Saturday morning, July 15, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Pam was born February 22, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Monroe Central High School. Pam worked as a CNA and Home Health Care Aid and enjoyed helping others. She attended Full Gospel Temple Church. Pam enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and music. Her passion in life was her family and grandchildren.

Pam is survived by two sons, Mark Garrett of Muncie and Justin Booher (wife Sarah) of Farmland; two grandchildren, Brayden and Madison Booher of Farmland; and two siblings, Jackie Brosher (husband Tim) of Yorktown and Gary Strouse (wife Sally) of Anderson.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Robert Garrett; mother, Edna Lewis and step-father, Johnny Lewis.

A funeral service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Judy Hobbick will officiate. A reception will immediately follow the service to continue celebrating Pam’s life with food and fellowship at 7516 N. Landing Trail, Muncie, IN 47303. Cremation will follow services.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember two hours prior the service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to aid in funeral expenses in care of Gant Funeral Home.
