Pamla L. Miller, 77, of Evansville, formerly of Gaston and Poseyville, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Oasis Assisted Living in Evansville, IN surrounded by family.
Pam was born on August 4, 1946, in Noblesville, to the late Lewis and Helen Buzan. She was a 1964 graduate of Alexandria High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ball State University. Pam worked for Ball Memorial Hospital for 31 years, where she was an RN in the Dialysis Unit for over 20 years and was an Utilization Review Specialist for the last 10yrs. before her retirement. Pam had attended Prairie Grove Church in Gaston and Northwest Church of Christ in Evansville, IN. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Gary Miller; two children, Jennifer Shell (husband Anthony) and Brad Miller (wife Julayne); three grandchildren, Haleigh Morrow (husband Max), Andrew Shell, and Levi Miller (wife Sarah); a step granddaughter, Courtney Bohrer (husband Troy); two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Maverick Morrow; two step great-grandchildren, Houston and Alaska Bohrer; two sisters, Brenda Wood (husband Danny) and Deborah Nevin; sister-in-law, Vickie Murphy (husband Chuck) and several nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Buzan; and three brothers-in-law, David Nevin, Jerry Miller, and James Wright; and two sisters-in-law Pam Wright and Wanda Miller
A funeral service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St. in Gaston. Pastor Michael Osborne will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery Muncie, IN.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel.
