Patricia Arzella (Kierstead) Logsdon

Patricia Arzella Logsdon, 76, of Muncie, passed away peacefully at Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.
 

Patricia was born March 17, 1940 in Fairmount, Indiana to the late Arthur and Christie (Brown) Kierstead. She attended Fairmount High School. She worked at Sonitrol Security Systems and was a homemaker. Patricia was a member of Villas Wesleyan Church in Ft. Myers, FL and First Church of the Nazarene in Muncie. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who found joy in caring for her family, vacationing with her husband, and close friends John and Janice Rinker, and playing scrabble with her granddaughter Sammantha Logsdon.
 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Logsdon of Ridgeville; three sons, Tony Ross of  Ft. Myers, FL. , Thomas A. Logsdon of Muncie and Karl Lewis of Arizona; Three grandchildren, Sammantha Logsdon-Cassiday (husband Tyler) of  Florida, Thomas Ross (wife Nova) of Muncie, and Eric Ross of Zionsville; two great-grandsons, Owen and Noah Ross of Muncie; two siblings, Roland Kierstead (wife Kay) of Anderson and Rosemary Kierstead Wray of Owasso, OK; close friends, John and Janice Rinker; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, C. Thomas Logsdon, in 2008; daughter, Christina Ross-Lewis; brother Lowell Allen Kierstead and her twin brother, Patrick Jay Kierstead.
 

A funeral service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel at 109 W. Elm Street in Gaston, Indiana. Pastor Dean Pickett will officiate. Cremation will follow services with burial of ashes in Thompson Cemetery at a later date.
 

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2016 and also one hour prior to the service Tuesday at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel.
