Scott E. Mathew

Scott E. Mathew, 68, of Muncie, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Scott was born on September 4, 1955, to the late Lewis and Pat Mathew. He attended Harrison Elementary School and worked for Hillcroft Services of Muncie. Scott was a member of the Special Olympics. He enjoyed bowling, basketball, and Bocci Ball. Scott’s greatest joy was time spent with his family.

Scott is survived by two sisters, Sue Morgan (husband Tom) and Janet Penix (husband Randy); sister-in-law, Sabrina Mathew; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Mathew; and nephew, Cody Morgan.

Scott will be cremated with a celebration of life at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Scott’s memory can be given to the Special Olympics, 6200 Technology Center Dr. #105, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
