Sharon (Masters) Studebaker

Sharon Studebaker, 84, of Yorktown, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Bethel Pointe in Muncie.

Sharon was born on November 8, 1939, in Yorktown to the late Henry and Evelyn Masters. She was a 1957 graduate of Yorktown High School. Sharon worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a longtime attendee of Cammack United Methodist Church. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by four children, Sherri Studebaker, Wayne Studebaker Jr. (wife Becky), Mark Studebaker (wife Melody), and Sheila Bannister; nine grandchildren, Kyle (Kristi), Jesse (Courtney), Brady (Kinze), and Spenser (Sarah) Studebaker, Mallory (Ethan) Lowrance, Taylor (Josh) Penley, Jared (Haley), Noah (Amanda), and Joshua (Hannah) Bannister; four siblings, Henry Masters Jr. (wife Shirley), Iona Garrett, Sandy Masters, and Carol Bell (husband Roger) and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Wayne Studebaker Sr., in 2015.

A funeral service to celebrate Sharon’ s life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Burial will follow in Overmire Yorktown Cemetery.  

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
