Steven Bevelhimer Obituary

 Steven Anthony Bevelhimer, 46, of Yorktown, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.
 

Steven was born February 2, 1977, to Bobby J Bevelhimer and Denise A. (Davis) (Bevelhimer) Sullivan, in Muncie, Indiana.
 

Steven was a jack of all trades and pursued many interests.  Most recently he was employed as a cook at Anita’s Kitchen in Pendleton.
Steven was a “people person”. He loved others and has made many life-long friends throughout the years. He was/is admired for his hardworking demeanor and loving, friendly nature. He would always lend a helping hand, many times without being asked. His capacity of love for friends and family knew no bounds, often putting others needs in front of his own.  His beautiful smile and laughing eyes were contagious.
If you knew Steve in any way, he was your friend.
He held a solid, beautiful belief and relationship with his Lord and Savior.

Steven is survived by his father and bonus mother, Bobby J & Kelly Bevelhimer, brothers: Aaron (Abbie) Bevelhimer, Andrew Bevelhimer, step- (bonus) siblings; Chris Box, Brandon Box, Rodney Sullivan, Phillip Sullivan and Nancy Bowyer.
Nieces & nephews : Gracie & Logan Bevelhimer; Laina, Carter, Ashlynn & Dalton Bevelhimer; Annabelle, Reese, Zoey & Keegan Box. 
Loving Aunts & Uncle; Marsha Barlow;  Steve  & Sue Davis.
Loving Cousins: Ashley Davis, Nick Davis, Jaime McKinley, Jenelle (John) Hartley, Meranda (Terrance) Whitehead, Christopher (Liz) Barlow and ALL of their children.
Also, and to be admired…. a multitude of loving friends and neighbors, and many extended family members.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother; Denise (Davis) Sullivan; Step-father, Phil Sullivan; 
Maternal grandparents Wayne  & Phyllis Davis, paternal grandparents Bill & Barbara Bevelhimer, and step (bonus) sister Bryanne Box.

To honor Steven’s life a private graveside family service with burial will be held at Hawk Cemetery, Yorktown.
A CELEBRATION of LIFE for extended family & friends will be announced at a later date.
