Suann J. (Morgan) Curtis

Suann J. Curtis, 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Gaston, Indiana.

Suann was born September 7, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Lloyd K. and Anna Irene Morgan. She attended Eaton High School and graduated from Wes-Del High School in 1968. Suann married Morton Curtis on August 15, 1964. She worked for Twoson Tool for over 15 years. She enjoyed mowing and crocheting. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Suann is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Morton Curtis; their three children, Dennis O. Curtis Sr. (wife Laura) of Gaston, Charles L. Curtis (wife Kathy) of Muncie; and Jean Ann Curtis of Muncie; seven grandchildren, Dennis O. Curtis II, Patrick A. Curtis, Jason Montgomery, Barry Montgomery, Nicole Conner, Christina Robertson, and Reba Curtis; six great-grandchildren, Isabella Curtis, Grace Curtis, Alex Montgomery, Ashton Montgomery, Robbie Conner, and John A. Robertson; a brother, Dennis Morgan (wife Barb) of Eaton; and several nieces and nephews.

Suann was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

A funeral service to celebrate Suann’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Gant Funeral Home, 109 W. Elm St., Gaston, IN. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday, at Gant Funeral Home, Gaston Chapel.
