Terry D. Clayman, 63, of Muncie, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 19, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Terry was born on June 19, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Barbara (Davis) Clayman. He was a 1977 graduate of Wes-Del High School. Terry worked at Colonial Bakery for 17 years and then TK Constructors for 20 plus years before retiring in 2021. Terry didn’t know a stranger and everyone knew the door was always open at Beth & Terry’s house no matter day or night. He was an avid NASCAR, Ohio State and diehard Cubs fan. He enjoyed fantasy football leagues with Zeb and Aaron, fishing with friends and family, golfing with his buddies, and working hard in his garden. Terry’s greatest joy was his family. Also known as “Dad”, “Papaw” and “Pops”. He loved coaching his children’s sports teams while they were growing up and the time spent with his grandchildren. He gave the best wheel barrow rides, horsey back rides, loved a good game of hide and seek and teaching the grandkids to bait the hook with a live worm.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years (next month would have been 43 years), Beth (Werbil) Clayman; their two children, Kim Pressnall (husband Aaron) and Zeb Clayman (wife Chrissy); three grandchildren, Josie (Sunshine) and Zach (Bud) Pressnall, and Lilly (Peanut) Clayman; six siblings, Beverly Edwards (husband Joe) Randy Clayman (wife Stephanie), Todd Clayman (wife Jody), Dawn Lowe (husband Chris), Pam Salinas (husband Jose), and Andrew Clayman; his bonus mom, Celsa Clayman; and several nieces and nephews.
